Author Submissions
Please read our Submission Guidelines before sending us your manuscript. All submissions are reviewed by the editing staff of High Adventure Publishing and every submission is responded to in one of the following ways:
1) Accepted - High Adventure Publishing will produce, distribute and market the manuscript after purchasing or contracting the work from the author.
2) Accepted (Pending Final Edits) - High Adventure Publishing will produce, distribute and market the manuscript after purchasing or contracting the work from the author after some final edits are agreed upon and implemented. These edits will generally be “minor” in nature. Most manuscripts that are eventually accepted are first Accepted (Pending Final Edits) or “Accepted Pending”, for short.
3) Edits Required - The submitted candidate manuscript has been reviewed by High Adventure Publishing editors and has been deemed to need comprehensive editing. Areas in which a candidate manuscript may require editing include inconsistencies and/or confusing areas in the narrative, significant spelling and grammar errors and other more apparent issues with the work as a whole. Suggestions may also be made by the editor(s) that align the
narrative more closely with the high fantasy setting and young adult “feel” of the Construction Paper Kingdom product line.
4) Declined - High Adventure Publishing may decline works that are not appropriate or too far out of the scope and vision of the Construction Paper Kingdom product line. A brief explanation will usually be issued as to why the candidate manuscript is not being considered for publication (declined). Most often this is in no way a reflection upon the author or his/her work.
